wala. natagpuan ko lang sa baul. hanapin mo na rin kung anong stage ka. tapos direcho ka ng pare. mangumpisal ka…
According to a 1969 book “On Death and Dying”, There describes where people allegedly deal with grief and tragedy in their lives. These are the ff. stages:
- Denial - This is where the person dealing with grief denies the he/she is in the state of grief. [IRONIC?! O.O]
e.g.
a. “Hindi ako nasasaktan!, bakit ganon?! ang sakti sakit …”
2. Anger - In this stage he/she will start to think that it is others to blame why she is in the state of grief.
e.g.
a. “HINDI PEWDE TO!! … Impossible … Kasalanan niya to …”
3. Bargaining - Begging for another chance, wanting to change, adjusting things to atleast make things fine and ease his/her pain.
e.g.
a. “I can change, can’t we just talk about this? … please?”
4. Depression - Being pessimistic and thinking that nothing can change anything at all.
e.g.
a. “Wala na rin naman akong magagawa, ayaw na niya … wag na lang.”
5. Acceptance - This is the last stage, this is where you learn to accept that you were in grief before and is willing to step a foot forward.
e.g.
a. “We can still be friends, that wouldn’t change anything at all. :]”
ge. drop dead. inom tayo.
